In the months that have ensued since the inaugural issue of Maximum Vapor, Abort73.com has changed dramatically. It is no exaggeration to say that every single page has been vastly improved. Not only does the website look better, it also functions better. We’ve expanded the real estate of each page to make the text more readable and we’ve reworked the navigation to make it much clearer. We’ve also focused on giving visitors new opportunities for interaction, new ways to join the dialogue and new ways to stay up to date. On virtually every single page of content, visitors can join our new email list, send the page to a friend, post a comment to the Abort73 message board or email Abort73 directly. They can also grab a PDF version for printing purposes or switch to a “Plain Text” version if they don’t want any graphics. We’ve also enhanced our “Abortion in the News” section to include a constantly updated RSS feed from Yahoo! News. This means that the latest abortion headlines from a variety of news sources around the world are being constantly updated and linked from within Abort73.com. Rounding out our new collection of dynamic content is the Abort73 Director’s Blog. This serves as the online journal for Loxafamosity Director, Michael Spielman. New posts are added each week, and visitors have opportunity to post comments back to each blog. This new array of progressive content serves two purposes. It gives visitors more incentive to visit Abort73 on a regular basis since our content is being constantly updated and they have more opportunity to be part of the debate. It also gives search engines more content to index, and since the site is literally updated on an hourly basis, it brings the search engines back on a daily basis. Now, more than ever, Abort73.com is an unparalleled online resource, uniquely positioned to educate young people about abortion. If you haven’t seen it lately, you haven’t seen it at all.
